Hi, I'm Bennett Norton.
I started Parallel 41 to help small businesses use AI the way it should be used — productively and safely.
My background is in cybersecurity. I've spent years in the attack surface management and vulnerability space — working at Armis and Ivanti, helping organizations understand what's exposed, what's at risk, and what to do about it. I've worked through the OWASP frameworks, seen how quickly security gaps accumulate when they're not built into the process from the start, and watched enterprise organizations spend enormous resources cleaning up problems that were preventable.
Small businesses are now deploying the same category of technology — AI agents with access to customer data, financial records, and internal systems — without the security teams that enterprises have. Most of the consultants helping them build these systems aren't thinking about what happens when something goes wrong. I started Parallel 41 because I wanted to change that equation: build the workflows that move small businesses forward, with the safeguards that most consultants skip.
The name
A line on the map.
The 41st parallel runs through northern Utah — it's the line that connects us to the world. Parallel 41 is named for it. The name also hints at how we work: parallel systems, working alongside your business, accelerating what you already do.
